The cover of this issue is made to pop and have the readers interested. The cover photo is of some of the athletes from the Sarasota High team that is on a crazy winning streak on top of this these athletes are in the class of 2020. The cover also has the name of the main features that will be in this issue. The font is easy to read and also is colored to help the magazine appeal to readers. The Title is in a entertaining font and is big enough to be read and is in bold so that is has some pop and also is easy to read.

Fonts

Today Joey and I looked through publisher 2016 to try and find some fonts we are considering using for our magazine. For the title we are deciding between 3 different fonts Onky, Wide Latin, and Script MT bold. All of these pop and will make the cover noticeable and intriguing, for the page numbers we have decided to use wide Latin. This will be a easily understandable font and to make it easier for the readers to understand we will make the number bold. For the regular text in our magazine we are thinking that times new roman is a good choice considering it is a easy to read and has a little bit of pop to interest our readers.

Aspects of print journalism that might interest me are the research aspects, taking pictures, and interviewing people. I am interested by the research of print journalism because, I enjoy having to research and learn things by digging in and asking questions. I got more interested in this after watching the first season of The Newsroom, after watching the reporters trying to find new information for the shows and going into old news to find new more interesting information. I also enjoy that people will try and question what you write so you need to make sure your sources are credible and your information is valid. Another aspect of print journalism that interests me is taking photos. This interests me because it is fun to me and also i want to try and get pictures that will intrigue people and make them want to read my magazine. The interviewing aspect of the magazines interests me because i like to learn about people and the way that they think vs the way that i think. All together i think that the magazine project would be a very good choice for me.
